Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL MUSCAT

You will arrive at Muscat International Airport (early arrival)

At your arrival you will proceed straight to Immigration. Immigration and customs are fast and simple. Upon arrival in the general arrivals hall you will meet our friendly and efficient driver Oman Safari Tours who will assist you in the comfort of our vehicle to guide you to the hotel.

Tour Start Morning at 9:00. Your first stop Oman traditional fish market in Seeb. Next to the fish market you will browse the fruit and vegetable market. Later you will have the photo stop of the Opera

You also have photo stops at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the palace of Al Alam, which is flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese fortresses Mirani and Jalali. Evening stroll through the Muttrah Souq, where you sell crafts and silver items.

DAY 02: GRAND MOSQUE-WADI SHAB-BIMMAH SINKHOLE-SUR-RAS AL HADD- TURTLE WATCHING

Morning, you will be met at the hotel your guide for a tour starts outside the city .. The tour starts with a visit to the beautiful Grand Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East.

Later you drive further to the coastal coast.On the coastal road you stop at the Sinkhole limestone in Bimah and then continue to the fins. Then you will stop at Wadi Shab which means “a wadi among the cliffs”, enjoy a walk through the wadi, walking shoes are highly recommended. Going up the wadi you will soon see some pools in front of you and you could even enjoy a refreshing swim in those pools. Soon we will arrive in Sur and relax in the hotel> get ready for dinner at the local restaurant around 18.30 and proceed to watch the turtles in Ras al Jinz.Turtles come to lay eggs during the night and this experience is memorable.

DAY 03: SUR-WADI BANI KHALID-DESERT WITH DINNER

Around 8.30am after breakfast, the guide will be visited by the guide. The tour will start at 9:00 am. Once you’re in Sur, your guide will take you to another city famous for commerce and the Dhow Building Yard in Sur, where building boats is more than just a task, but a way of culture, tradition and life .

Sur still offers a glimpse of those awls, arches, hammers and iron nails in search of the perfection of the ancient art that has helped Oman to establish itself as one of the oldest and most influential sultanates in the Gulf region. Although it is largely less common than in previous centuries, the construction of a building is still very much alive and well in Sur, and has become not only an attraction for tourists, but also for the ultra rich who are eager to put the hands on some of the most famous craft ships in the world.

You will meet your 4×4 cars near the desert area (please keep a small shoulder bag for use only for trekking and swimming. Keep only useful items for swimming and trekking, because then return to the same coach)

You will drive through small villages and towns before arriving at Wadi Bani Khalid driving through the mountain offering a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape below. You will pass many beautiful villages set in the mountains. Here the road winds towards the Uadi next to a large and shallow pool fringed with vegetation and ends in a village. We park our vehicles at this point and continue on a short ride to the deep blue pools of the wadi. If you wish, you can enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and walking shoes for this trip. Continue to the great desert of Oman known as “Wahiba Sands”. Soon you will come face to face with the huge desert and our experienced drivers guide you through the sand dunes to give you a thrill of driving on the dunes. After enjoying the walks on the enchanting dunes you could perhaps meet the Bedouin family to learn more their lifestyle in the desert. After that you will greet the desert inhabitants to drive to reach the camping Buffet dinner and overnight stay at the Wahiba Sands desert

DAY 04: DESERT-BIRKAT AT THE MOSE-JABREEN CASTLE-NIZWA

Morning after breakfast at 7 am we will proceed to Nizwa. After a long journey, continue the tour proceeding towards Foot of Jabel Akhdar and you will stop on the road to see the old village of Birkat Al Mawz, walking through plantations and small streets with old crumbling houses.

the next stop will be Continue to Jabrin, for a visit to the Fort that was once the home of the Imam and was built to be a palace at first, before being used for military purposes. The tomb of the Imam is still located in the fort.

The Jabrin fort is also considered one of the first schools in Oman. Then we proceed towards Bahla, a charming town surrounded by an old 12 km long wall; visit the place where they make ceramics and also the old fort of Bahla, one of the oldest in Oman (under renovation, the visit is only from the outside).

Overnight in Hotel Nizwa.

DAY 05: AL HAMRA- NIZWA FORT & SOUQ-MUSCAT

Today you will visit the historic city of Nizwa, the cultural capital of Oman.

In the morning visit the mighty fort with its impressive circular cannon tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq. Al Hamra to see one of the oldest villages in this region. The traditional mud houses dating back 400 years are still occupied. The falaj system used in this village is one of the oldest of this type (UNESCO site) Overnight in Muscat Hotel
