Your driver will pick up you at your hotel in Muscat and drive you to the the older part of the city. You will see the the Sultan’s Palace which is surrounded by the 16th century Portuguese-built forts of Al Jalali & Al Mirani. Continue to the Muttra Souk, a traditional Omani market. Browse a wide range of goods and typical Omani souvenirs like frankincense, Omani daggers and beautiful silver handicrafts. Stay for up to one hour while your driver waits for you. Afterwards, you can visit the fish market in Muttrah if you like. It is also possible to stay at the Souk for a longer period of shopping before your driver drops you back to your hotel.
