After your arrival at the Dubai International Airport and custom, immigration clearances, our friendly, smart and efficient Oman Safari Tours chauffeur will meet you at the general arrival lounge. He will then guide you to the comforts of our vehicle and provide a relaxing hotel transportation from the airport.

On the second day, your tour will begin in the morning. We pick you from the hotel at 09:00 am and drive for an exciting half day Dubai city tour. While driving pass through theDubai creek- to can see the natural salt water inlet in a historical part of the city that cuts through Bur Dubai and Deira.Gold & Spice Souks- a traditional market or souk that boasts of hundreds of trade retailers and provide an opportunity for enjoying wide varieties of shopping. Dubai museum at Bastakia area- This is an interactive museum located at Fahidi Fort and established in 1971.
Burj Khalifa- This world famous structure inaugurated in 2010 and currently is the world’s tallest structure, which boasts of 828m protruding the skyline of Down Town Dubai and has more than 160 floors (including the Armani residences & hotel resort). Jumeirah Mosque- This mosque is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture, which is a stone structure, built in the medieval Fatimid tradition.
Burj Al Arab- This is a famous sail shaped building, which is known as the fourth tallest hotel in the world. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island.
The Jumeirah Palm Island- This is a group of artificial islands, which is constructed in the shape of a palm tree. The Jumeirah Palm Island contains luxury hotels (the Atlantis resort), restaurants, beach side villas & apartments, water parks, marinas and sports facilities & health spas.
After completing the tour, we drop you at your hotel.
Dinner Dhow Cruise (Pickup: 7:00 PM, Drop Off: up to 11:00 PM)
On a wonderful dinner dhow cruise, you will get an opportunity to discover the true beauty of Dubai. By boarding a traditionally decorated wooden dhow (also known as cabin crew), you will sail along the Dubai Creek under the charming moonlight. During the cruise tour, you can see the major Dubai landmarks that shine through the moonlit sky. While the wooden vessel slips silently across the creek, you will come across the past and present architecture (like the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, National Bank of Dubai, the Heritage Village and the Sheikh Saeed’s house) of the area that is brought to its full beauty. Your memorable romantic evening cruise includes a buffet dinner (oriental or continental), soft drinks, mineral water and traditional coffee. On this lovely cruise tour, you will also enjoy the traditional Arabic background music and various sorts of entertainment (like Tanura Show).
In the morning, you check out the hotel and then transferred to Dubai Airport for departure
(Your standard check out time is 12:00hrs). You then arrive at the Salalah international airport and undergo the quick and easy custom and immigration clearance. Your excursion begins in the morning with a wonderful visit to the old fishing village of Taqah. This village is famous for manufacturing Dried Sardines and for its traditional and old Dhofari Houses. Thereafter, you visit the century old Taqah Castle, which was the former official residence of the ‘Wali’ (Governor) of the region. By visiting this castle, you will obtain a glimpse into the rich history of this region.
The tour then continues onto the ancient ruins of the once famous city of Sumharam (Khor Rohri). For the Hadramawt Kingdom, this city was the easternmost outpost on the ancient incense route between the Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf and India. Khor Rori or Sumharam was once an important port on the coast of Dhofar and known as one of the major trading cities with frankincense. It is believed that this place has been the hub and harbor for shipping of Frankincense, as well as also rated UNESCO World Heritage site.
On your way back to western Salalah, you can explore the ever green Wadi Darbat and enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Wadi bed, which is surrounded by herds of camels, cattle, and goats. Especially in the Khareef season or the monsoon period, one could witness an almost 100m natural waterfall that beautifully spreads its tentacles into numerous lakes and lush green vegetation. You then proceed towards the Qara mountains to explore the western part of Salalah. We drive you on a road that steadily winds up to a steep incline where the herds of camels and cattle are a common sight. On this drive, you can also enjoy a scenic view of the traditional Dhofari’s rural beauty. You will then visit the ancient tomb of ‘Prophet Job” that is situated in the scenic green mountains of the Salalah Plains.
Thereafter, you proceed to the beach of Mughsail to witness the amazing white sand that touches the deep blue ocean and see the high tide (where the waves burst through the natural titanic Blow Holes that is at the far end of the Rocky Beach with a cave-like entrance. Then we continue along the ‘Hair-pin-bend’ road towards the Western Border of Oman to see its breathtaking cliffs (on the either side), the historical ‘Frankincense trees (growing in their natural habitat) deep down in the valleys and the dotting the dry & craggy countryside. You then get a chance to enjoy a short walk into the valleys to smell the Holy Incense amide the scenic view of the region.
Then we return to the Salalah hotel to enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel. (B).
In the morning, after having the breakfast, we take you to visit the Al Baleed museum of the Frankincense Land. This museum was opened in July 2007 at Al Balid Archaeological Park, which is a large archaeological site. Here you can stroll through and witness an impressive collection about the archaeological and maritime history of Oman.

You will then get a chance to explore the Heritage souk to see the different types of Omani crafts and incense burners. Here you will have an exact view of the Arabian market. After visiting the souk, we take you to another famous souk- Gold souk that offers modern and oldens style Dhofari ornaments. Thereafter, you can visit an attractive souk- Haffah souk where small shops are lined up with straight piles of incense boxes, clay incense burners that are colorfully decorated with traditional patterns and bags of incense crystals. On your way to the Haffah souk, you can see the typical Dhofari houses that have caravan windows and doors. While walking past the Sultan Residential Palace- Al Husn and explore the Old Souk where cosmetics, Frankincense and Dhofari traditional clothes are available for sale. Before returning to the hotel, you can visit the ancient city Zufar, the ruins of Al Balid, which was once visited by Ibn Batuta and Marco Polo. You will be impressed to learn about the beautiful, large and noble city.
