DAY 01: Arrival Muscat International airport – Transfer to hotel

After your arrival at the Muscat International Airport and you will enjoy simple and fast immigration and customs clearance. Your day two of the Treasure of Oman tour starts after the breakfast session that will take you to explore the Muscat city attractions:

Muttra souq- One of the most popular tourist attraction, the Muttra souq or Mutrah Souq is one of the oldest markets in the Sultanate of Oman, which dates back about two hundred years. Its extent beauty, magic, charm, and antiquity will help you have the utmost fun while exploring this traditional Arabian market.

Sultan Palace- The Al Alam Palace in Muscat is the Sultan’s Palace that is recognized for its delightful mushroom pillars in blue and gold. The palace is closed to the public, but here you can enjoy quintessential photo opportunities.

Portuguese forts- On a guided tour, you can explore the Portuguese Forts in Muscat like the Al Mirani & Jalali Fort and Mutrah Fort. These forts were built by the Portuguese.

DAY 03: Muscat-Wadi Arbyeen-Bimmah Sink Hole-Wadi Shab-Ras al Hadd

Having the breakfast, you will head towards Wadi Arbyeen from your hotel in Muscat. The journey to Wadi Arbyeen will take you into Oman’ remote world of natural beauty that has deep pools of water set among the date palms. Here you will experience the serenity of walking through a wadi. Then after, we drive you towards the spectacular Bimmah SinkHole. This attraction is an impressive limestone crater, which has a green and blue water at the bottom. Thereafter, you will head towards the exquisite turtle beach resort- Ras Al Hadd, which is located in Ash Aharqiyah. At the Ras Al Hadd, you will catch an exciting turtle watching.

DAY 04: Ras al Hadd-Sur dhow factory-Wadi Bani Khalid-Wahiba

In the morning, after having the breakfast, you will leave Ras al Hadd to enjoy a Sur dhow factory tour. Sur is located on the Gulf of Oman where Oman’s majestic dhows have been built. Here you can witness the ancient residential dwellings and well-worn streets and experience the centuries old heritage. Thereafter, you will visit the Wadi Bani Khalid, which is the most popular wadi of the Sharqiyah region that maintains a constant flow of water (flows from a natural spring) throughout the year. Here you will find long series of plantations, villages and abundant vegetation. We drive you towards the Wahiba Sands, which is the desert region in Oman. DAY 05: Wahiba-Sinaw-Birkat al Moze-Nizwa

The day five of your Treasure of Oman tour starts a drive to the Sinaw City by leaving behind the Wahiba. On your visit to the Sinaw City, you will get an opportunity to learn more about the cattle market and its wonderful souq. This modest town boasts of well-preserved multi-storey mud houses and a fascinating heritage. Your journey will then head towards the beautiful Birkat al Moze, which located near Nizwa in Oman. This tour will help you known about Omani history and glorious heritage. We then drive to Nizwa.

DAY 06: Nizwa-Jabreen castle-Bahal fort &Osis-Jabel Shams- Nizwa

The fourth day of your tour will be a full day visit to the historic town- Nizwa, which is known as Oman’s capital. Thereafter you proceed to visit the Jabrin castle, built in the 17th century and is known as one of the finest castles with magnificent plasterwork, carved doors, and painted wooden beams. These all things make the castle amazingly different. We then continue to Bahla, which is one of the oldest small towns of Oman (In the 12th century is was the capital of the tribe living in the region). Here the monumental fort is closed for renovation, so you will enjoy only a photo stop. You can also explore the Bahla famous pottery work.

While heading for Jebel Shams, you will enjoy a stop at the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul. The next stop will be the Wadi Nakher that is located in the depth of the deepest canyon. At the Jebel Akhdar range, the highest peak-Jebel Shams offers a spectacular view. In the Sultanate of Oman, Nizwa is the birthplace of Islam and is renowned for Nizwa Souq. Day 07: Nizwa fort & Souq-Muscat Amouage perfume factory-Muscat hotel

After having the breakfast, your tour starts with a visit to Nizwa- In the Sultanate of Oman, Nizwa is the birthplace of Islam and is renowned for Nizwa Souq. This souq is renowned for its intricately hand-carved “Khanjars” (daggers) & beautiful ornamental silver jewelry.

Jabreen Castle-This is the most beautiful and historic castle in Oman. Then you will get an opportunity to explore the Nizwa souq, which is one of the oldest souqs in the country. At this souq, you can see local craftsmanship, handicrafts, antiques and more. We then drive you to the Muscat Amouage perfume factory, which is a popular perfume house in Oman. The name Amouage is recognized as a luxury brand in the world and is famous for its sophistication and decadence.

Then we drive you back to your Muscat hotel to enjoy an overnight stay.

DAY 08: Departure to Muscat international airport

We arrange for you stress-free departure transfers to airport, from where you will catch the flight back home.
