After you arrive at the Dubai International Airport and undergo all the immigration and customs clearance, Oman Safari Tours smart, friendly and efficient chauffeur will welcome you at the general arrival lounge (upon your arrival). We pick you up from your hotel and drive for a half day Dubai city tour. Your tour starts with a drive through the Dubai Creek(a natural salt water inlet in a historical part of the city, which cuts through Bur Dubai and Deira). Then you get a chance to explore the gold and spice souqs or souks (traditional market or souq with hundreds of trade retailers for doing wide varieties of shopping). Thereafter you visit:
The Dubai Museum at Bastakia area, which is an interactive museum located at the Fahidi Fort and established in 1971.
Burj Khalifa (inaugurated in 2010), is currently the world’s tallest structure boasting 828m protruding the skyline of the Down Town, Dubai. The Burj Khalifa has more than 160 floors that include the Armani residences and hotel resorts.
Jumeirah Mosque (a tribute to modern Islamic architecture), a beautiful stone structure that was built in the medieval Fatimid tradition.
Burj Al Arab (a famous sail shaped building), the fourth tallest hotel in the world that stands on an artificial island.
The Jumeirah Palm Island, a group of artificial islands that constructed in the shape of a palm tree on which many luxury hotels are standing tall like the Atlantis resort, beach side villas & apartments, water parks, marinas, shopping malls, restaurants, health spas and sports facilities. After the tour, you will be back to the hotel for relaxing and starting again the Dinner Dhow Cruise later in the evening.
Dinner Dhow Cruise: (Pickup:7:00pm, Drop Off: 11:00pm)
On this Dubai tour experience, you will get a chance to discover the true beauty of Dubai by boarding a traditionally decorated wooden dhow (cabin cruise) that smoothly sail along the Dubai Creek under the moonlight. On this tour, as the vessel silently slips across the creek you can see the major Dubai landmarks that shine through the moonlit sky. You will feel mesmerized by witnessing the past and present architecture of the area like Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the National Bank of Dubai, the Heritage Village and Sheikh Saeed’s house that is brought to its full beauty during this time. This will prove to be an unforgettable romantic evening cruise, which includes a buffet dinner of oriental or continental cuisine), soft drinks, mineral water, traditional coffee, traditional Arabic background music and Tanura Show.
In the morning, you check out the hotel and drive to Dubai Airport for departure (Your standard check out time is 12:00 hrs). Thereafter, you will arrive at the Muscat International Airport and undergo all the immigration and customs clearance. At the General arrival lounge, our friendly & efficient Oman Safari Tours chauffeur will meet you and assist you to the comforts of a well-maintained vehicle and enjoy a Half day City Tour. Your half day city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (one of the largest mosques in the Middle East) and then visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. You will then enjoy photo stops at the residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos- the Al Alam Palace (flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali). Then you can stroll through the Muttrah Souq to enjoy bargaining for buying handicrafts and silver items.
Enjoy an overnight in the Muscat Hotel.
The fourth day of your tour will be a full day visit to the historic town- Nizwa, which is known as Oman’s capital. Thereafter you proceed to visit the Jabrin castle, built in the 17th century and is known as one of the finest castles with magnificent plasterwork, carved doors, and painted wooden beams. These all things make the castle amazingly different. We then continue to Bahla, which is one of the oldest small towns of Oman (In the 12th century is was the capital of the tribe living in the region). Here the monumental fort is closed for renovation, so you will enjoy only a photo stop. You can also explore the Bahla famous pottery work.
Enjoy an overnight stay at the Nizwa Hotel.
In the morning, our guide will drive to the Wahiba sands, via Birkat A Mauz and Ibra. Wahiba sands to explore the vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. You will be amazed to witness the ever-changing patterns of sand dunes, which proves to be a photographers delight. Here you will enjoy an exciting and thrilling sand dune driving. At the evening, you can watch the spectacular sunset from the top of the dunes and enjoy BBQ dinner.
Your overnight stay will be at the Wahiba Sands.
On the sixth day of your journey of Arabia tour, the first destination will be Wadi Bani Khalid, which is a beautiful oasis spot situated in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. The Wadi Bani Khalid is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman, where you can get a chance to take a refreshing dip at the pools with clear deep blue water. After enjoying the ambiance of the Wadi, you proceed to visit the fishing town of Sur. This is the eastern most town on the Arabian Peninsula (where the famous Omani Dhows were built). It is believed that the Dhow building in Sur are century old and closely linked with the maritime heritage of Oman. In the old days, the Omanis used to sail from Sur to India.
You then have an early dinner to visit the turtle sanctuary at the Ras Al Jinz to watch the Green Turtle at night. Here the Green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs (after a journey of thousands of kilometers).
Then you return back to the hotel for enjoying an overnight stay at the Ras Al Hadd.
On the seventh day of your journey of Arabia tour, after having the breakfast, we visit the ruins of the Bibi Miriam’s Tomb at the village of Qalhat, which is located on the coastal road to Muscat (This is a photo stop only). Then your next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a wonderful limestone crater that has blue green water at the bottom. If you are driving along the coast on a clear sunny day, then there is a chance to spot the sharks in the deep blue water or see the fleet footed Gazelle sprint across the landscape.
Thereafter you return to Muscat for an overnight stay in the Muscat Hotel.
We arrange your departure transfer to the airport, from where you will take the flight back to home.
Please note that this tour is on a request basis and can be started any day of the week. In case we are not able to secure the accommodation as per the above program we would give you the option of operating the tour in reverse
All Museum/forts visits are subject to change without notice. Museums are normally closed on, Fridays, Saturdays and Public Holidays. Similarly, visits to forts may be changed without notice since certain forts are often closed temporarily for renovations on a regular basis.
** The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat can be visited between 0800 – 1100 hrs on working days from Saturdays to Thursdays and it remains closed on Friday and public holidays.
